Building a more connected
creative community.

ARTS Collective is a Charlotte-based cultural initiative creating
meaningful opportunities for local artists, independently owned
businesses, and the communities they serve. Through thoughtful
experiences rooted in creativity and collaboration, art becomes
most powerful when it’s part of everyday life.

Charlotte is home to an extraordinary community of artists.

Yet discovering their work often depends on already being connected to the local art scene.
We weren’t satisfied with the idea that this was the only way.

"What if art simply met people where they already are?"

That question became ARTS.

Today, we create thoughtful opportunities for artists, venues, and communities to connect through everyday experiences, making original local art more visible, more approachable, and more deeply woven into the life of our city.

What Drives Us

Art belongs in everyday life.
Discover original local art as naturally as they discover their favorite coffee shop, bookstore, or neighborhood gathering place.

Accessibility should never compromise artistic value.
Every collection is selected through a thoughtful curatorial process because making art more accessible should never mean lowering the standard.

Every connection matters.
A sale is more than a transaction. It’s the beginning of a relationship between an artist, a collector, and a place they may come to love.

Success is measured by what happens next.
We exist to create opportunities, not dependence. Our greatest success is seeing artists, venues, and relationships continue to grow alongside ARTS.

Why Charlotte?

Charlotte is a city shaped by people who build, create, and collaborate. Its thriving creative community inspired the creation of ARTS.

With support from the City of Charlotte’s Creative Growth Grant, that idea became reality.

As the city grows, so does the opportunity to strengthen its creative ecosystem.

Created by an Artist

Caro Yanez is a Venezuelan-born artist, creative strategist, and founder of ARTS Collective.

Her background spans both the creative and entrepreneurial worlds, giving her a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges local artists face beyond creating their work.

ARTS brings together those two paths—combining artistic insight with strategic thinking to create meaningful opportunities for artists, independently owned businesses, and the community.

Today, she continues leading ARTS with a simple goal: helping strengthen Charlotte’s creative ecosystem by making local art part of everyday life.

Why Art in a Really Tiny Space?

Art in a Really Tiny Space was born from a simple idea: everyday places can become places where art is discovered.

Our micro-galleries transform overlooked spaces into opportunities for meaningful encounters between artists, collectors, businesses, and the community. They complement Charlotte’s vibrant cultural ecosystem by creating new moments of discovery beyond traditional exhibition spaces.

Looking Ahead

We’re not simply expanding a network of micro-galleries. We’re strengthening a creative ecosystem.

We’re building a growing platform where artists find new opportunities, independently owned businesses become cultural destinations, and communities discover local creativity as part of everyday life.

Ready to Be Part of the Story?

Whether you’re an artist, a venue, or someone who believes local art belongs in everyday life, there’s a place for you in the growing ARTS community.
